What CoffeeAlbum is

• A free web app for associating photos with songs.
• Not a commercial service. Provided as-is for personal enjoyment.
• CoffeeAlbum is currently in an early access phase. Features, availability, and third-party integrations (including song previews) may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.
• During this phase, CoffeeAlbum is available by invitation only to a limited group of testers.
• We do not guarantee that any feature, integration, or the service itself will continue beyond the testing period.

Pricing and future changes

• CoffeeAlbum is provided free of charge during the current early access period.
• We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or subscription tiers in the future.
• If and when pricing changes are introduced, existing users will be notified in advance and will not be charged without explicit consent.
• Free tier features may be adjusted as the service evolves.
• During early access, each user may create up to 5 boards. This limit may be adjusted in future versions of the service.

Your account

• You sign in with Google. One account per person.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Keep your Google account secure. We rely on Google for authentication.

Your content (photos)

• You keep full ownership of any photos you upload.
• By uploading, you grant CoffeeAlbum a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and serve your photos within the app. This licence exists only to operate the service and ends when you delete the photos or your account.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload photos, especially photos of other people.
• You must tick the consent checkbox before uploading, confirming you have the right to share the photo and its subjects.
• When you share a board link, anyone who receives that link can view its contents. CoffeeAlbum does not control how links are distributed once shared.
• Shared board links expire automatically after one week unless renewed by the board owner.
• While board pages are marked as non-indexable by search engines, external services such as web archives or link preview tools may cache publicly shared board content. CoffeeAlbum cannot remove content from third-party archives or caches. If this is a concern, avoid sharing board links publicly or on social media.

Uploader responsibility and indemnification

• You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload any photos, including consent from identifiable people in those photos.
• You indemnify CoffeeAlbum and its operator against any claims, damages, or costs arising from photos you upload without proper consent.
• If a person pictured in your photo requests removal, we will remove the photo and may contact you to explain why.

Photo-song associations

• You must not associate a photo with a song in a way that is harassing, defamatory, threatening, or intended to humiliate the person pictured.
• Example: uploading someone's photo and pairing it with a song whose title or lyrics mock, insult, or sexualise that person is a violation of these terms.
• CoffeeAlbum reserves the right to remove any photo-song association that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful, offensive, or harassing.
• Violations may result in immediate account suspension or ban.

Music and copyright

• Song previews are 30-second clips delivered via the Deezer public API. Deezer is a trademark of Deezer SA.
• CoffeeAlbum does not host, store, or redistribute any music files. Preview audio is streamed directly from Deezer's servers.
• Song previews are provided using the Deezer public API during this testing phase. CoffeeAlbum's use of the Deezer API is independent and does not imply a commercial partnership. Should Deezer's API terms or availability change, song preview functionality may be modified or removed.
• All music rights belong to the respective artists, labels, and rights holders. CoffeeAlbum makes no claim of ownership over any musical content.
• If you connect Spotify, we only read your liked songs to suggest them. We never modify your Spotify library or redistribute Spotify content.

Third-party music service

• CoffeeAlbum uses the Deezer API to provide 30-second song previews. This integration is provided on a non-commercial basis during the early access period.
• Music previews are subject to Deezer's terms of service and availability.
• CoffeeAlbum does not store, redistribute, or modify any music content.
• Preview availability may change at any time based on Deezer's API policies.
• All music content remains the property of its respective rights holders.

Third-party services

• CoffeeAlbum uses third-party services to provide its functionality, including Google (authentication), Deezer (song previews), and Spotify (liked songs import).
• CoffeeAlbum is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Deezer SA, Spotify AB, or Google LLC. The use of their names and trademarks is solely to identify the services that CoffeeAlbum integrates with.
• CoffeeAlbum is not a music streaming service and does not provide access to full-length tracks. The 30-second preview clips are provided by Deezer under the terms of their public API.
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service. If a third-party service changes or discontinues its API, affected features of CoffeeAlbum may stop working.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Upload content you do not have rights to
• Upload photos of people without their knowledge or consent
• Attempt to harm the service, other users, or our infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Use CoffeeAlbum to bully, harass, or humiliate anyone
• Upload sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content
• Create boards designed to mock or embarrass the people pictured

Removal requests

• If you are pictured in a photo on CoffeeAlbum, you can request its removal using the Report button on the photo or by emailing coffeealbumadmin@gmail.com.
• We will process removal requests within 48 hours.
• We are not required to notify the uploader before removing a reported photo.

Service availability

• CoffeeAlbum is provided "as is" with no guarantee of availability or uptime.
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
• We will try to give notice of significant changes, but cannot guarantee this.

Limitation of liability

CoffeeAlbum is a free, personal project. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any data loss, service interruption, or damages arising from your use of the service.
• We are not liable for the content you or others upload.
• We are not liable for any issues with third-party services, as described in the Third-party services section above.

Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. This permanently removes all your data.
• We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Italy.
